Youth Fund Distribution Committee

2010-2011 YFDC Committee

The YFDC Committee is made up of local high school students who want to make a
difference in their community!  This committee decides on how to allocate monies for
programs that will benefit other youngsters in Geauga County.  They have $20,000 to
allocate to different programs.  This program is open to high school students in the
county with a referral from a guidance counselor or teacher.

Goals of the YFDC are to:

1	Provide high school students with a hands-on experience in solving community problems.
2	Teach students how to stretch limited dollars to have the greatest community impact.
3	Provide a challenging opportunity and instill a spirit of volunteerism in our future adult leaders.
4	Identify issues critical to youth and prioritize limited resources.
